Who We Are

The people behind the studio.

Two disciplines, one practice.

Kokai Studio was founded in 2008 as a visual design and storytelling practice. Over the years, it grew into a creative technology company — adding IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and security consulting alongside its creative work.

The name "Kokai" means "open to the public" in Japanese — a principle that shapes everything we do. Whether it's animation for an NGO or infrastructure for an enterprise client, we believe good work should be accessible and purposeful.

What was previously our dedicated IT arm (LDCORE) is now fully integrated. One team, one studio — creative and technical work under the same roof.

Motion designer and visual storyteller. Studied film editing, sound, and multimedia in Bucharest, then digital post-production at the National Film and Television School in the UK. Passionate about cinema, typography, and character design.
